Alexandros Papandreou in his 30’s is an Electrical & Computer Engineer and a PhD candidate of N.C.S.R. “DEMOKRITOS” laboratory at Artificial Intelligence. He is the head of Gifted Children sector of Greek Mensa and head of its educational programs. He has set up the first programs for Gifted Children in Greece, which he manages for three consecutive years, while he was vice president of Greek Mensa from 2011 to 2014. As part of his responsibilities, he gives lessons, lectures, does trainings, counsels parents and mentors young people and children. He is one out of five members of Gifted Youth Committee of International Mensa and has been selected as Leadership Ambassador for 2014-2015, an honorary title of international Mensa, that charges him with the responsibility to mobilize young people, to create partnerships and to support innovative efforts. Alexandros Papandreou writes articles in scientific journals, has lectured at international conferences and has published dozens of articles. His interests include physics, philosophy, writing and traveling.
